This wouldn't be the brotherly thing to do but have you considered not picking the phone up when he calls?

Let's assume you take the more dignant route and answer the phone.





Tell him that coming on too strong about religion, with people who are not disposed to listening to it, WILL actually drive people further away from God rather than closer to.





He is going to have to be patient with you whether he likes it or not.


YOU TOO are going to have to be patient and bare his religion talk when he is being civil.
Put him on speaker phone and do some chores.





Or better yet, record him and offer to send him a copy. That cured my husband of coming home grumpy.
