Why are people on Craig's list so mean? Especially in the Rants and Raves section.?

I think it's because it is anonymous and they like to pick on people because they know there is no way of them being exposed. There are a lot of creeps on Craig's list. It's a great place but you have to be safe.Why are people on Craig's list so mean? Especially in the Rants and Raves section.?
I'm not familiar with Craigslist, but any internet forum for rants is meant to be mean - though usually not toward users of the same forum- and, as pointed out above, internet anonymity brings out the worst in some.Why are people on Craig's list so mean? Especially in the Rants and Raves section.?
people as a whole are mean, the list is just a microcosm.
Because they are ranting and raving...ventilating, getting frustrations out
