No. Guns and religion are for the political hacks to dredge up for vote buying during election cycles. People in this country are not being slaughtered on a daily basis because of guns and religion. You could bring up the idea that the US should ';share'; its wealth (usually food and/or money) with the poor unfortunates of the world that are unable to do for themselves because of corrupt governments, inter-tribal warfare or religious hatred. I AM AFRAID YOU ARE CORRECT. I KNOW SOME PEOPLE THAT VOTE SOLELY ON GUNS AND THERE RIGHT TO OWN THEM. I PERSONALLY HAVE ONE. I ALSO KNOW MY RIGHT TO HAVE THEM IS PROTECTED. UNLESS THE CONSTITUTION WOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN WITHOUT THE VOTE OF THE PEOPLE. AND AS FAR AS GETTING RILED ABOUT RELIGION, AGAIN YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THAT. AGAIN THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED BY PEOPLE THAT CAME HERE SEEKING RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, COMMON SENSE DICTATES THAT WE ARE ALL FREE TO WORSHIP AS WE SEE FIT. MAYBE THE PROBLEM IS THAT WE HAVE ALL LOST OUR COMMON SENSE.
